Brisbane Program Commences

Oh Brisbane, it is so leafy and green and so far each night has been filled with entertainment. Either fireworks or possum drag races up and down the roof. Their nails seem to create new upper octaves as they slide down the down pipes.

Anatomy Wet Lab

A big thank you to Matt and his support team. I would have to say that the lab facilities are seriously good at UQ and so was the enthusiasm and assistance of staff. Workshop attendees were treated to a great range of wet and plastercised specimens that greatly assisted the learning process. We will be doing it next year, so those that expressed disappointment of not being able to attend or missed the emails we will keep you informed.

Dry Needling Introductory Course

We have just completed the first, east coast AAP Education Anatomical Acupuncture Program. Participants spent the two days going over in great  detail surface anatomy palpation to ensure accurate muscle palpation and subsequent needle insertion. The concept of using the needle as an 11th finger, to enable tissue 'palpation' at depth was explained and practiced. Discussions were also had about the role or

ice/no ice in acute muscle injury, laser therapy, quantum physics,VideosXs and yogi. Plenty of clinical discussions were also explored as the group had together a great range of practical experience.

Student PD Night

Looking forward very much to meeting the 45 students tomorrow night. Roll on Monday!
