Venue

The SCGH - Physiotherapy Outpatient Department (A Block) is the location for some of our Perth based weekend clinical courses.

We strongly recommend you leave yourself adequate time to arrive, find parking (see below) and to copy the map as finding you way around a hospital can be difficult. N.B.The Watling Walk is under cover.

Parking

Some suggestions;

  1. Nearby streets e.g. Violet Grove are free on weekends - check road signage for time and durations
  2. Around Rosalie Park, on the north side of SCGH. Parking is pretty cheap ($5.00) during the weekend
  3. Hollywood multi story car park. Entrance #5 on Monash Avenue, $3.00/hour or $24.00 maximum per day
  4. 24/7 multi story Wilson car park for SCGH with access off Winthrop Avenue and Hospital Avenue approx $22.40/day

Public Transport

Nedlands is served by excellent public bus transport for those that wish to travel to and from the courses. The offices are only a short walk from either Stirling Highway/Mounts Bay Road or Monash Avenue.

Meals & Refreshments

Morning and afternoon tea and lunch are catered for on SCGH courses.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available to suit a variety of tastes and budgets.
With the close proximity of the University of WA, accommodation can be obtained through residential colleges for self-contained units, motel style rooms or single bed student styled accommodation.
